New picks: Fall Skincare
Who else loves skincare?! Call me crazy, but washing my face at the end of the day is one of the best feelings. So for me, it really has become a ritual.
A little bit of background about my skin type: combination, with a tendency to get shiny around my T-zone. And I get hormonal breakouts (ugh).
BUT no fear, because new fall skincare is here! I haven't used either one before (was previously using an Acure face wash and Metta Skin Balm), but I have to say - these two products are a power couple.
Let me start with the Ursa Major face wash: what I love about it is that my face doesn't get that tight/dry feeling on your skin after washing (which I don't like). Second, it's filled with amazing ingredients (Aloe, white and green tea - just to name a few) that are really beneficial for my combination skin. And uhm, can we talk about the smell? It smells (and feels) refreshing because it's got spearmint and lime in it!
Next, Indie Lee's squalene oil: it's 100% derived from olives. I have used other type of oils for my face before (as moisturizer), but not this kind. OK so now you're thinking I'm crazy for using oils on my already combination-oily skin, BUT it's actually better for your skin! (that's another topic for another day). I found this oil was NOT heavy and sank into my skin wonderfully. It kept my skin hydrated, and not oily. There is no scent, because the only ingredient is the olive-derived squalene. Speaking of ingredients, it's not filled with other junk! Just the pure oil.
